Core and Stability in In-Service Training
At Body Logic Health, we make sure to keep you up to date with evidence-based knowledge, to help you along your clinical journey. In our weekly in-service training sessions, we cover everything from case studies to team bonding sessions. This also helps to maintain consistency throughout the clinic so our clients our confident in the treatment they are receiving.

Our recent in-service training session focused on a topic at the core of many rehabilitation and performance goals: core strength and stability.
We took a deep dive into the nuances of local and global stabilisers vs mobilisers, with an emphasis on how to retrain them effectively. For many clients, particularly those experiencing persistent pain or recurring injury, it’s not just about building strength, it’s about restoring balance and reprogramming motor control.

After going through some theory, and applying it, the team demonstrated some exercises that target different combinations of mobilisers and stabilisers.
As physios and rehabilitators, we often see the gap between strength and control. Bridging this gap is where the real change happens. When we train both systems, stabiliser and mobiliser, low- and high-threshold, we’re setting our clients up for long-term success, not just short-term gains.
