Sport & Running Injuries FAQ's

Body Logic Health does offer both running and gait assessments. This is completed on our treadmill normally so we can take a video of your movement to analysis and discuss the findings with you. This is a crucial part of our assessment as understanding how you walk and run will help you understand how your injury is affecting your movement, along with this it will help your treatment pathway progression.

Yes, absolutely you can book in regardless of your sporting background. Our team is very experienced and helps a wide range of people with various injuries. The main point is that they have a great and varied background in many sports so if you are from a sporting background they will understand the demands of your sport to help you achieve the best results and get back to your sporting best.

Essentially the sooner the better. Being able to be assessed and diagnosed quickly means we can get the right support in place for you, make sure you are doing the best self management which will help you move through the first phase of recovery quickly and effectively. It will also allow the team to make positive decisions about any onward referral should that be needed.

No, you don’t need a referral from your GP to see one of our team. They are all very skilled at the assessment phase and will be able to diagnose your musculoskeletal injury.

If you do choose to go through a health insurance company you may need a referral to be able to claim back for your treatment.
