Pre-Natal Reformer Pilates
A key part of your pregnancy will be to maintain good core strength and pelvic floor function. Ensuring the body is functioning well going into child birth will help you return to your best afterwards. There are specific pre-natal reformer pilates classes for you, or you can enjoy the additional benefits of 1.2.1 sessions.

Foundation Training
Enjoy being in the gym? We have experts ready to help you continue your training, targeting the key issues that can arise during pregnancy. This will keep you in good shape, give you the buzz of the gym environment and help you maintain your core strength and flexibility as you progress through your pregnancy.

NEW MOTHERS (Up to 12 weeks)

Women’s Health Physiotherapy
Many women report feeling weaker following the birth of their baby. This can be due to a variety of reasons including decreased exercise during pregnancy (due to general fatigue, low back pain) or a tummy gap / Diastasis Recti.

Along with this, different delivery methods can lead to different concerns post-natally including;

Post-Natal Check Up
Staying ahead of potential issues can be critical to your long term progress. As such there is the opportunity for you to come and be reviewed by our Women’s Pelvic Health Physiotherapist. This will include;

  • Diastasis Recti / Tummy Gap check
  • Deep Core Muscle Engagement & Activation
  • Internal Examination (If requested or required)
  • Pelvic Floor Recruitment Efficiency

This can put your mind at ease and make sure you are doing the right things so you can build your strength and return confidently to the activites you enjoy

NEW MOTHERS (Post 12 weeks)

Women’s Health Physiotherapy                          
You are now into the stage of recovery. Your body is starting to improve and you will begin to feel stronger again. 

However, everyone is different and the point you started at will dicate how long it takes for you to return to your best. So don’t delay if you are experiencing issues, such as the ones mentioned above, our Women’s Pelvic Health team are ready to help you.

Post Natal Reformer Pilates 
Begin your return to exercise plan. Reformer Pilates is an excellent method to build your core strength again, and our team of trained instructors will complete a post-natal screening before putting together the right plan for you.

If you are experienced at Pilates you can move straight into our post-natal classes, however for individual programming there are 1.2.1 sessions too.

Return to Running Coaching 
If running is your thing, and you are keen to get back to running, which is a great form of exercise however has certain risks following child birth. It can be a great mental break with a new born in the house and is quick and easy to complete. It is important your core and pelvic floor are functioning well before you start again.

We have a running coach, who has also completed Pelvic Health rehabilitation, so can guide you through the first steps, working with our physiotherapist, and get you back to the sport & training you enjoy.

Foundation Training – Build Your Core 
With the right guidance it is great to get back in the gym and training again. During the first months training really needs to target the deepest core muscles to help you get back to your best. 

Our team have completed training to make sure you are guided through the correct steps which will allow you to recover your core strength and flexibility in a safe environment.

Performance Training & Return To Optimal Health

Reformer Pilates
Pilates is one of the great forms of exercise that can always help you build your core strength and improve your flexibility.

Aside from 1.2.1 sesisons there are a host of classes available from Introductory, Progressive and into our Elite classes that can help you be the best you can again.

Performance Training 
Once your core is stronger your journey can continue helping you get back to your best. Our Performance team can transition you back into normal training that will allow you to return to your sport, be it hockey, lacrosse or football. 

Or maybe you are keen to get back in shape and build your fitness again, Performance Training (PT), can be a great way to achieve your goals.

Running Coaching & Programme Design
Were you a runner? Maybe you are keen to complete a 5km or have bigger aspirations in mind. Once you are running confidently again, then our team can help with technique to make you more efficient, training programmes to help you improve your fitness and times and identify the key areas to improve your running form.
