Maximise Your Running Form to Improve Your Speed

You Don’t Want to Leak Energy with this Hip Issue
Too often in the clinic we come across runners who are leaking energy through poor strength around their hips. In a previous video we discussed knee control, this time we look at keeping the pelvis level and strong. Maximising the ability to put your energy through the ground while running for maximum benefit for you the runner.

Over any distance running well requires you to have good control of your core, which can really be anything form your trunk as we all know it, through to your foot, hip and shoulder blade regions. It is important that your body is strong enough and dynamic enough to complete the task at hand.

Don’t be that runner that is wasting energy. Complete this simple test to check your pelvis control, and if positive get to work on completing your hip and abdominal strengthening work to improve your running form.
