Understanding the issue
Our kids are amazing, we are already aware of that and as parents our role is to help them unlock potential so they can thrive and enjoy every opportunity life throws at them. Certainly the opportunity to play sport, develop relationships and have fun is an essential part of their growth and development. The key is helping them maximise their movement and performance development, allowing them to progress and maximise every opportunity.
Underlying their movement and performance development is the fact their bodies are changing and devleping as they grow. We know muscles and tendons take longer to adapt to the changes bone growth can place on them. Any training programme and athletic development programme needs to take into acocunt their natural body development and build on those changes to adapt training to the current situation.
Our athletic development programmes are ideally placed for 8-16 year old kids to excel and develop a confidence in movement that will help them progress at any sport they choose to enjoy.
Recovering from Injury
Unfortunately kids are like the rest of us and injuries can occur that stop them from ejoying the sports and activities they love. The difference is that our decisions here can ffect them for the rest of thier lives. It is more imperative that you get their injuries assessed and managed correctly, no matter how small they seem to you. Essentially if a kid is in pain then there is a tissue being stressed and movement patterns can adapt around that quickly.
Quick and early intervention will help them achieve an effective recovery and allow them to get back to activty, while you will hav ethe peace of mind to know that there is no underlying issues affecting them long term. Help them be the best they can be.

Building the Foundation
The foundation is the key, and kids are like sponges they just absorb movement patterns and learning so much more readily than adults can. The problem is many are not aware of how to move they just do it. At Body logic Health, our Performance Coaches educate and train, so your child will learn how to move better, understand why it is important and through repetition and practice these movement patterns become natural habits.
You can change their long term understanding and engagement with movement for the benefit of their sporting and activity dreams.
